Alex Paton
Alex is the musician and composer for MY BIT, 2019.
Alex is a London-based musician and composer. On hearing the 'Imperial March' in the Star Wars films at the age of seven, Alex was inspired to learn how to play an instrument. Many years and many instruments later, he now composes for a variety of cross media genres including theatre, film and dance. Recent collaborations include scoring for a multitude of projects, including award-winning shows with companies such as English National Ballet, Alvin Ailey, Rambert, This Egg Theatre, Ephemeral Ensemble, Fool’s Cap Theatre and more. He performs in several bands and cross media performances as a multi-instrumentalist and accompanies and runs workshops for movement and dance as a musician/accompanist.
