George joined Lîla in 2019 as performer in The Hotel Experience.

George was born in Glasgow and went on to study at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. After graduating he went on to work as a performer and choreographer for a number of dance companies and choreographers both internationally and in the UK including: Nigel Charnock and dancers, Ludus Dance, Stop Gap, National Dance Company of Wales and Flexer and Sandiland to name but a few. George worked as Assistant Artistic Director on the 2012 Cultural Olympiad Commission in Birmingham with Motionhouse and, in 2014, he choreographed You et Vous, a European Commission for 4 international professional integrated dance companies. In 2010 alongside Helen Gould George established LPM Dance, a dance company,  based in the North West of England.  George also currently delivers  a number training initiatives with Indepen-dance in Scotland  for adults with a disability.
