Jonathan Mewett
Jonathan joined Lîla Dance for the R&D and creation of Lîla’s outdoor production MY BIT 2019. He also took part in the R&D phase of The Hotel Experience in 2017.
After graduating from the University of Chichester with a First Class (Hons) degree in Dance, Jonathan toured as a member of postgraduate company MapDance, performing works by Richard Alston, Motionhouse, Liz Aggiss, Lîla Dance and ildance.
As a professional, Jonathan has performed internationally, with experience in stage performance, immersive theatre, television production, outdoor performance and gallery performance. Credits include: Rosie Kay Dance Company, Protein Dance, Gingerline, Maxine Doyle, C-12 Dance Theatre, Hit the Ground Running Dance Theatre Company, Flexer & Sandiland, Katie Dale-Everett Dance Company, Salah El Brogy, Alfred Taylor-Gaunt and Amy Toner Dance.
